i have an OEM triple fold one...never had any issues and no water in the bed.

my 2011 had a hard top cover...hated it...never could fit anything taller than the bed in it without it sticking up in the air.

i was looking bat the power roll up ones...nice, but too expensive for me.

Soft Roll-up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover Compatible with 2009-2026 Dodge Ram 1500 (Incl. Classic & New), 5.7ft Bed, 26.5oz Vinyl Soft Truck Bed Cover, Weather Resistant Bed Cover

Put a cheap Gator on the compan's 5th gen 5'7" bed a year or so ago and it's holding up very well.

Owner typically drived the truck and often leaves the sides unsealed/pressed down, partially open, etc. and it's still in great shape.

For the $$ I would buy one again.

For a bit more $$ you can take a look at the Truxedo Pro X15, I recently swaped a 10yo BAK MX4 for one and have been very happy.

FYI I think "Real Truck" bough everyone up so all the soft roll up's are almost all the same with different names. The only differences are how low pro, cover material and premium hardware/design.

It would be helpful for us if you would include a link to the cover you're looking at. It looks like you just included the name of it from Amazon. You'll get best results from a post like this if you don't force us to do a search based on the name of the thing you're asking about.

There are many options available to you. I've always had good luck with Truxedo LoPro soft roll up covers. Our current truck has a BakFlip G2 hard folding cover. It all depends on what kind of cover you want and how much you're looking to spend on one.

I'd check with @Nick@GotExhaust and see what they have to offer. He's a preferred forum vendor and can often offer pretty good deals on accessories like this.

It's just a generic (probably Chinese made) soft roll up bed cover. You somewhat get what you pay for with a bed cover, although you pay a premium for name brand covers. The one in your link sits a little too high for my tastes. Which is why I like the Truxedo LoPro as far as soft roll up covers go. I've never had any issue with water pooling on it as long as you pull it tight before securing the velcro sides. If there is slack in any cover there is a chance for water to pool.

Those are both the same link, not sure why you posted it again. That cover will probably work fine for you, if you don't mind how high it sits. But I have no idea how long it will last. It's definitely cheap enough to replace it if it doesn't last very long. Not the direction I'd go. My motto is buy once cry once. So I tend to go with accessories that have a good reputation. Which means I generally pay more for stuff like this lol.

I sold hundreds of bed covers when I owned a truck accessories center. The cheap ones now on the market are better than the most expensive ones 20 years ago. I've sold and used every brand and style of cover ever made. I prefer roll-up covers and put one on every new Ram I buy. My newest one, Barricade brand, is OUTSTANDING. The velcro seal is outstanding, the latch system at the back is the easiest and most effective I have seen, and it stays trim and tight. $225 from a big online accessories dealer, free shipping. No, I don't get paid to report this, but when somebody gets it right and gives me a hell of a deal to boot, they deserve an "attaboy".

my Truxedo Lo pro is the original cover from 2017. I’m in the process of having the Velcro replaced locally. A marine shop is quoting $100 for new Velcro as the top itself is A1 condition. It’s still just a roll-up style but I have literally no water in the bed of the truck and it’s survived 185km speeds

I have a 2012 1500 Laramie. Got a Truxedo LoPro. Put a bed mat down. I have had zero problems with it. If I had to get another, I would look to see if they still made this one. It's a roll-up.
Almost 15 years. Almost time for a new truck, too. The bed liner is cheaper.

Mine is a 2022 1500 Laramie, RWD, 6-ft bed...I installed a Tyger rollup cover (from Amazon) 6 months ago. I added a strip of common household window weatherstrip to the top of my tailgate to keep out the elements. I drive to Oklahoma City several times a month (97 miles one-way)...the Velcro seems to do just fine at 80mph. Cost was $207 (I'm tax-exempt). Hope this helps.
