Installed the rears today to match the fronts... I torqued them to 100 ft.. is that good? Install went well after going on a goose chase to find a damn 21mm wrench... didn't have to take liners out or drill a hole. But my god after the driverside shock strap that keeps it compressed slipped off without me noticing it was hard as all hell to get it into position

Did my install (front and rear) the other day. Took the liners out because it only takes a minutes per side. The driver's side was easy, but the passenger side was a PITA. Had to cut a cheap 21mm wrench in half to get the top bolt out.

Oh and we torqued the rear shock bolts to GNT (Good 'N Tight):naughty:

Yeah I don't know who designed those upper shock bolts to be right in line with the frame, but they should've used those bolts with the flange on them so you wouldn't need a wrench.

They should have been welded on :) , The more I work on this truck the more im disappointing in the quality and the way its put together. So many sub par parts that seems were made to last until the warranty expires..lol..

I finally paid my truck off this month, Purchased it new in 2102 for 32K , Now they are pushing 60K for the same sub par junk... lol... So I will be driving this one until im lawn fertilizer as I dont see myself paying that much for a RAM ever.

At least the aftermarket parts are cheaper and better than OEM. So will upgrade slowly as stuff starts failing. Funny How all my problems started as soon as I hit 60 000km.
