just needs new software by the sounds of the recall. thats an easy fix if they can create it fast... unlike our rear axle pinion nuts that could cause a failure and wheel come off the truck at highway speeds..... haha

I'm assuming that mine's included in the recall based on the date it was built. I'm just gonna have it checked out next week since I already have planned to take it into the dealership.

I personally don't have a problem with the traction control, but that being said, it's helped me out alot recently with all the bad weather we've had.

The build date should be on the sticker in the drivers door jamb.

According to the article, this recall only applies to the 4x4 trucks.

Yep good catch. I haven't ever noticed a problem with mine and I have over 6,000 miles on it now. Hopefully it will stay fine until I get it into the shop for regular service and I'll have them look at it then.
