2013 Ram 8.4 interference with engine running. I’ve exhausted my resources trying to fix interference issue, including the Big 3. Even had dealer to check the grounds, and other components. Only thing left is the antenna cable. Is it possible the cable going to the antenna could be causing the issue?

Possible BUT after swapping to a newer radio (2018+) for several years (and several newer radios) I firmly believe this is just an issue that effects RA3/RA4 Uconnects and they're design is simply more susceptible to EMI generated by the vehicle in operation.

What do I have to do to update to a 2018 radio. What is the radio ID # I need to look for?

Everything you need is in this thread...

Feel free to ask questions here though.
