RJL thank you I will definitely give him a call. I'm really gearing this truck (no pun intended) towards speed, my last Ram was all about the trails but now with a newer model I figured it's my chance to check out the other side of things. In all honesty if I wasn't trying to race this thing the 3.21 would be quite sufficient, to all of those talking bad about it; they're just over exaggerating. The 8 speed helps big time but it does not compensate completely for the tiny gearing. Launching in 4WD AUTO best time 15.001 on the quarter mile at 91MPH (with an intake installed), in 2WD if I drop the hammer I pretty much just spin through the first 3 gears otherwise if I try my best not to spin I think I was hitting 15.75. Now the open differential is a different story, having no anti-spin/LSD is a whole additional problem which plagues anyone's driving intentions I believe. My brother is actually the service manager at a Chrysler dealership but I can't seem to get much information out of him on it, he prefers to keep things stock or doesn't want me bothering him with constant work related questions.

I had my factory limited slip installed that I bought from Moe's. I have to say that I am glad I did it, it makes a big difference. When it is wet out, it makes it much easier to get going especially on an incline. Just have to be careful now when taking turns, she wants to get sideways sometimes.
