I'm looking to buy one because I don't like the idea of a freely open and available gas cap so looking for any feedback on this.

I had one years ago on my Jeep Cherokee. I worried about it freezing up in the winter.
The locking gas caps have a key slot where water makes its way in and freezes, yes. I worried enough about it to just go back to the regular cap. What do you mean, is there a risk the gas cap can freeze up vs the OEM gas cap?
I have seen plenty of youtube vids. that show there not keeping anything safe. any of the locking caps. strong hands or big pliers and there off. i wanted one to but no since wasting money on one.
Fortunately I live in the South where it might freeze for about 4 hours a year, every 4 years, heh. At least it's a little more deterrent to someone with foolish thoughts on their mind.
