Any successful LED switches from Halogen???

Sorry if there is a previous posted thread, as I was unable to find it.


I am curious to know if any one has successfully switched from Halogens bulbs to LED bulbs without changing anything but the bulbs, for the 2015+ Ram 1500.


The reason why I ask is I spoke with a local custom auto shop and the guy I spoke with "Tuna" told me I will experience the malfunction or error lights popping up if I did the switch.


Can anyone share their knowledge on the matter?

I purchased mine from auto led corp on facebook. They are out of Ontario . I messaged them and they responded back quickly. I think I spent t 160 or so for the lows for my projectors and they work great. No codes, no flickers.
I also have a 2015. Good luck.. oh yea, Crazy Bright!

There's a big thread someone did a few weeks ago comparing LED to HID headlights. Not sure who started it, but maybe try searching and see if you can find it. Tons of info there!

I installed LED lights in the high beams using lights from OPT7. You do have to use the small resistors that they supply or you will get a CANBUS warning. I installed same type lights in my foglights also. Used HID for low beams.
