I am wondering if anyone has or what are the pros and cons of lowering say 2-3". I recently saw a Ford F250 sitting a lot lower than my RAM2500. Wheel wells seem to have a lot of space available with my 20" tires. My trailer hardly deflects the rear end even though the tongue weight is 800+.

Any ideas, concerns or what is involved? New shocks and springs I suppose.

Thanks!

Honestly have considered it. These new trucks sit WAY too high with no good reason. It's dumb that i need a 8-9" drop hitch to tow my boat.

The problem comes with cost and suspension angles. Finding shorter travel suspension that does not compromise capability.
