Anyone "add on" leather with the genuine Mopar leather seat cover kit?

Im torn between a cheaper kit thats just a single color and probably matches what you get from the factory, or a custom kit to "set my truck apart" but at 2 or 3 times the price lol

I went through a local dealer, 2 colors (dark and light grey) with light grey stitching. $1100 out the door, took a week to get it ordered from Katzskin. They pulled the cloth out and this included wrapping the center console (armrest). Hell, the installer even fixed the latch on the armrest. WIN!

That looks great! My truck has the diesel gray interior but I like the black outer wings and center section that matches the primary color of the interior

Thats a pretty simple setup that looks great. I like "loud" so I was thinking red center sections, but after seeing yours I figure center sections that match my interior are best.

Mopar lists a leather seat cover kit, made by Katzkin, as an Interior Option on their parts site.

Has anyone ever used it?

Im more curious as to what it looks like....is it all one color, what color(s) is it, anything perforated, etc.

I know what the base Katzkin kit would look liike (directly from Katzkin) but was wondering if the Mopar kit is different.

Part # is LRDS0132DU (the 2 stands for 2 rows, the D stands for Deluxe, U stands for Uninstalled)

There's a company called clazzio these are slip over covers that are real leather. Many color combinations to pick from and what color stiching also. You can get anything embroidered on them. They fit so tight that you would never know it is a seat cover and they run around 600 I have them in my 2o12 ram and there awesome.

Clazzio makes a black and grey combo. Honestly looks really nice 400 bucks on eBay. That’s A LOT cheaper alternative. I’m torn....lol

To answer your question about Mopar Katzkin leather seats, I purchased a set of official Mopar leather and I can tell you it is awesome. I purchased the set off eBay and it has the actual Mopar tags on them. I found a local Katzkin installer who did an incredible install for a great price. My seats are all black with white contrast stitching and white RAM emblem stitched into the top of the seats which is only available on Mopar licensed seats. One of the Best upgrades you can make. I don't have access to the pics of my truck on the computer im on but if you look at my profile i have pictures of the seats. My total cost was about $900.00.

Curious if you happen to have the part number for the kit you purchased.

Ive seen it on eBay a few times, and it looks like its technically available online (even directly from Mopar), but I dont know if its just a generic part # that "starts" a custom order, or if you will actually get something (like the kit you got).

Black leather + white logo + white stitching would be perfect! I have a white truck just like you so I think it would look great.

One more question - did it come with cover(s) for the center seat?

It came in the original box with paperwork and when I did the install I forgot to keep everything. I'll contact the installer as he keeps record of each install and see if he happened to enter a part number from katzkin. You can go to the katzkin website or a dealer and you should be able to design a set. when youre done it will give you a part number for ordering.

There is actually a MOPAR part number for it, directly off their parts and accessories site: LRDS0132DU

I was wondering if that was some sort of default configuration....it lists at $845 but Ive never tried ordering it to see what happens.
