Anyone ever had this problem?

Pulled my keys out of my jacket yesterday and low and behold…

Had that happen with a Ford key before, except I was using it as a knife to open a box.

I just popped open the housing and glued the blade to one side. After it dried, I put the housing back together. Lasted for another 8 yrs. New owner was still using it last I saw him.

In your case, I agree. In mine, I don't think the designers were planning on people using their car keys as a knife.
