Hey all, been looking into new headlights to either upgrade or replace my quads. I am settled on getting all 6 bulbs replaced with the Fluxbeam X however I saw these last night. These are factory replacements for quads going to projectors.

Does anyone have these? Being OEM I'm fairly sure they would work well but I am not shelling out $500 for them unless I have confirmation on that thought. I know the Opt7 lights will do just fine but I really want the look of projectors as well.

Thanks.

These are not OEM from Mopar they are made by Recon and are an aftermarket replacement part.

Thanks for that clarification. Since Recon is the manufacturer being allowed/chosen to sell their products through Mopar this still suggests that they meet Mopar standards and perform well. So the question still stands, does anyone have experience with these and what are the pros/cons?

I do, but got them directly from Recon. I just ordered superbright switchbacks and have the upgraded 6K highs and lows to add. I am currently running retro shop TYCs with 5K lows. I haven’t completed the swap yet but did test them out. BRIGHT! I have them on a bench and can take pics all around if you want? The halos and tiny leds (along the inner edge and bottom)come on with Park light setting. I am thinking of wiring the tiny leds as DRLs

Pics would be great. Also links to all you had to purchase so I have an idea of total cost of this upgrade vs. sticking with the Opt7 LEDs.

Thanks!

moparonlineparts.com is not Mopar themselves, they are a Dodge/RAM/Jeep/etc. dealership in NY. They just happen to also be a dealer for Recon lights and sell everything through the same web site. I've bought a number of parts from them (although not any Recon items) and had great service. The Recon lights in general have a good reputation. If you buy from moparonlineparts be sure to get/use the free shipping code for forum members.
