Anyone Install Running Lights w/Turn Signal Function

I need to connect to Running Lights that have signal capability. The only options I can think of is:

a) Remove light, remove access panel to light, drill hole in access panel, then insert wire through hole and then connect to parking light wires.

b) There is a harness that connect to the light and I hoping that there is a way to splice into it.

Trying to see if someone else has done this. These are to Recon Big Rig Running Lights.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I did a) for my mirror running lights.

Not a super hard task but can be done.
