I've found my '14 Hemi RAM will get 22-24MPG high way on a trip but I drive it easy. Most of the time when someone complains about poor mileage; all things being equal it's usually poor driving habits. It surprised me when I say that to a lot of people they think I'm talking about reckless driving. Like doing burn outs and driving 90 mph.

I used to get 19-20 in my truck doing 65-70mph when I was stock on the highway. 2017 8 spd 5.7 hemi quad cab 4wd. Lifted on 35s the same drive dropped to 16. Tuned for headers and 6.4 manifold and I get around 16 or 17 still. But stop and go is horrendous which is most of my driving. Puts me around 12 avg. if I can get going around 55 consistently my current mpg says around 20-21

It ain't called the lie-o-meter for nothing. Many folks note a 1 - 4 MPG difference between the lie-o-meter and hand calculation. Try hand calculating to see where MPG really falls.

Are those your commuting miles? If so, drive a whole tankful during the week, tryinig to stay at 63 and fill back up at the same pump next time and see what you get!! :driver:

I usually figure out my mileage based on about 4-5 tankfuls, averaged out. That's my real fuel economy. But like you say, it's good to know where the sweet-spot is. Thanks for the info...
