So I recently purchased a Dodge 2500 4x4 Tradesman and have 2 questions regarding wheels and tires...

1) If i leave the stock steel rims on it and install 35" tires do I have to put spacers to avoid rubbing? Is the offset enough?

2) If I buy new wheels, what offset do they need to be for a 35x12.50x18 to run without rubbing? Obviously they need to negative offset but by how much?

Thank you in advance

What wheels do you have now? The steel silver ones? What size tires do you have now?

Reason I ask is they are a bit different and the size of the wheel (Width wise) may not accommodate the 12.5" tire.

I had stock 17" 4th gen wheels on my 3rd gen truck with 35s and fit good.

You may want to at least level it as well...

You'll probably end up rubbing if you don't at least get a leveling kit anyways

2016 2500 tradesman 4x4 with 18" chrome stock wheels here. 35 12.5 18's worked great with zero rubbing. Mine are Nitto Terra Grapplers. A more aggressive sidewall lug on a mud tire may rub slightly but mine didn't.
