Damn sounds good. I still need to do headers. I chose to upgrade some interior the 8.4 ra4,Clazzio leather covers, and leather steering wheel with audio controls. Now I wish I had ordered the headers. I like the hood too

The sound of your truck is...explained by the picture below :naughty:

Fair enough the gas mileage has decreased but well worth it.
Are you sure about that? I thought headers improved mpg....i think the problem lies in you, stomping the gas pedal all the time :happy107:

Also, how much louder is the truck now with headers installed? Are you experiencing less drone now?

Good choice. I love mine. As soon as the heat index drops below 111, I'm going to do some wot drive byes. http://youtu.be/L8ylYUpNgkU I deleted the muffler and went with the catted lt's and kept the resonators. What set up are you running behind the collectors ?

They make a little noise...haha.

Guys, this setup is without cats which is why it is so much louder than before. Going with cats is only slightly louder than stock. Without cats will wake the dead...haha.

Long tube headers no cats and no resonators, straight to 50 series flowmaster muffler and stock tips. Thinking of getting 5 inch black tips to give it that murdered out look.

What's funny is I installed ARH headers (catted) on my 2500/6.4 but left the stock cat-back initially. It's almost no louder than stock at all. Not even on a cold start. That's one hell of a muffler Ram uses on these HD trucks.

Magnaflow cat-back going in on Wednesday. If that doesn't make it sound a little better I will really be dejected.

Guys always put their vehicle in Park and rev it. So what. Take off up a hill or something.... Put a load on that engine, and romp on it.

That sounds good for the few seconds we heard it. Not sure I'd want to live with that on a long trip.
