So I take my Ram into the shop Wednesday night to have the bolts soaked before replacing the headers on Thursday. Talk to the shop, old headers come out fine new headers are in. But there is an issue with the crossover pipe being too long to go into the y pipe.
Not sure if anyone else has had this problem or not? I have called American racing and they sent me out a new 8speed crossover pipe thinking there was a mix up and I got one for a 6 speed. As you can see it is too long and where the **** is for the O2 sensor is an issue with transmission pan.

Anyone else have Fitment issues?

Call them. Someone either sent you the wrong part or the welder got sidetracked. You need the correct y-pipe.

Verified that all parts are correct. The suggestion was to loosen the headers then install the crossover and y pipe then tighten tge headers down.

My mechanic balked at that idea as our heads are aluminum and the it would pull stress on the headers eventually causes an exhaust leak. He has 44 years of experience and see exactly what he does.

Not happy this was supposed to be done Thursday.
