As some of you may know I installed blower on my truck and had some issues with it when it got up to temp. I posted the issues and from what I could tell, Arrington was the way to go. I contacted them and asked for AJ to help me out. He was in NY, so they helped me out. I told them what was happening and they wrote a custom tune for my truck with the mods I have done. Included in the tune was 2 or 3 updates that I can use in the future. I got the tuner and proceeded to install it. When it was finished the truck had check engine light, electric throttle control light, and stability light on. The truck would run for 30 seconds and stop. I contacted them and 2 weeks later still have no response from them. I has to send my truck back to the shop that did my install and tell them that I installed Arrington tune. They are fixing it now since I'm on vacation till next week. I contacted sales, customer service and a manager. I was told that John Walbash is looking into it and 2 weeks later no response. Anyone else have any trouble with one of their custom tuners?

Haven't had any experience with there tuners but I did buy a set of there billet fuel rails when I thought mine were no good. I emailed and actually talked to one of them (can't remember the name now) and they told me the rails WILL fit my truck.

But when I went to install them I found out they do NOT fit at all!!! Needless to say I'm still a little pissed about the whole thing since I've got $500 ******* in a set of fuel rails that are no good to me and collecting dust in the garage.

I phoned and emailed them back several times and keep getting the "we're working on it to see why they don't fit and how we can make them work for you" speech. Last I heard from them was over 2 weeks ago now. At this point I'd just be happy with my money back. But even then I loose out on the shipping cost $140 I had to pay in duties (since I'm in Canada)

Not real impressed with there customer service when I had a problem. When they forgot to send me the crossover kit with them they were all over that and had it shipped to me for free right away though.

B&G merged with Arrington. Dave Kaspar (B&G) is the guy you need to be talking to at Arrington on flashing. I've worked with Dave for years on flashing these trucks. Try asking for him specifically. Matter of fact - I don't think Arrington flashed before- they sent it all out to Kaspar at B&G.

Dave is a joke on FI tuning. He couldn't even make my **** idle, much less run.
AJ is th ONLY tuner there anyone with a blown motor needs to talk to....period.
I wouldn't let Dave tune my damned lawn mower.

Yeah I don't about FI. But Kaspar has flashed 6 or 8 trucks for me over the last 10 years or so and never had problem. Not one. Ever. Matter of fact I think Dave even worked for Chrysler for a period of time. His cal on the '10 netted 80hp/100ft lbs. Dan Cragin DC Performance dyno. Go with what you know.

He may be the cats ass with NA motors but he knows jack **** about boost.
He tried to tell me 60lb injectors were too big in my truck and couldn't be tuned.
That's the same injectors in the truck now...that actually spec 64lbs.
Dave had my ECM 5-6 times and not once did the truck leave its parking spot after I tried it.
AJ nailed it on the first shot minus a cel for the SRV which he sent me an update for my trinity to turn off and it's been flawless ever since.

Actually...Dave's first tune did run...I even tried to dyno it to log it. The AF bottomed out at 9.8 as soon as the pedal was touched...it smoked black like a hopped up diesel. He had me send my injectors to him to look at and he sent me a USED set of stock 6.1 injectors that never even saw my truck. No way I'm putting used stock **** in place of the high dollar matched set I paid for. I got my originals back and haven't had a single issue.
He's useless with a blower far as I'm concerned.

OP have you emailed them? I get an email right back from Kaspar when I'm looking for him. Maybe, he might be able to help you get it figured out on their end. Broken hates him, but I've had good luck dealing with. Good luck.

Haven't had to deal with the tuner from Arrington yet as I'm still waiting on all my parts, ordered on July 2nd, but as far as I can tell their customer service is a little sparse. Good luck ShortBed and please wish me a good experience, lol.
