Just so you guys know, Arrington is doing a install next week for forced air on a '13 Ram. Hope it all goes well because I will take a place in that line.

This is good news, but I would like to see them fine tune the 2012 setup first. I have 3 customers right now with boosted 2012 trucks that are not running near as well as they should be. They have had hell with tuning. 1 of them has only run a best 1/4 mile time of 15.1 @ 92mph with a Procharger kit, longtubes, 4.10 gears, and a 2600 stall converter. He ran a 15.2 stock before dropping $12k on the truck.

I have not talked to him in a couple weeks though, so maybe they got it all sorted out now?

Wow, I'd be pissed if that was me. There must be more to it than tuning because the 2 '12 R/T's I know of are pushing some nice numbers. Charles R/T is ripped @ TQ 435.8, RWHP 467.9 with JBA shorty's and Justins is completely stock @ TQ 421.9 RWHP 397.8. THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO "HMMMMMM".

I think the problem was that he is not local to Arrington, so they were trying to tune it via email...that is very difficult to do correctly with boost. I know there are already a handful of boosted 2012 guys seeing great results though.

Holy ****! A 15.xx with a super charger?! That's got to be so frustrating just knowing it's a tuning issue.

Matt that makes sense. With forced air mapping complexity and the amounts of cash involved, proprietary secrets, etc, the only bet for success is taking the vehicle to the facility until a manufacturer releases public. I hope the best for the guys that don't take that route. With that investment, it only makes sense. It's not that Arrington, HHP, or AHM, can't, it's the cash that goes into R&D of the tuning process for these mods. Just in my cam install, Arrington is investing thousands of their own $/ hundred hours for R&D for the tuning of it. Water your money trees guys because if you want these things for the public, its gonna take test mules @ their facilities.
