I'll start another thread tomorrow. while I look for some pic's. and I use a Paasche VL.

Sweet... Haven't tried a Paasche brush, started with a Badger witch was a pos. So I swapped over to a Iwata Eclipse HP-CS. It's not bad for larger work or detail but you really have to have a steady hand. Then I found a Iwata Custom Micron CM-SB and now I do most my work with that. It lets me do hairline detail work and the larger stuff.

Now if only I'd stop bending the tips. I really need to invest in a airbrush holder.

Can I use one of these to paint headlights? Will custom mixed auto paint work in an airbrush? Or am I required to use a different paint? I really would love to paint here........with an airbrush if I could. Just have no clue what I'm looking at or how much this stuff would cost, whats good, etc.

I wouldn't try using the airbrush for what your trying to do unless your thinking of adding designs into your headlights. And its not that easy you need to practice a bit so the airbrush becomes and extension of your hand.

And yes the paint your using now will work in certain ab but only if they are for heavy paints.
With Paasche VL I would use the number 5 tip and needle.
