I was wondering if anyone has done the ATC upgrade from MTC with an aftermarket stereo? I just bought a new h/u and idatalink unit and all that jazz but before I program the idatalink and swap out the stereo I was wondering if the upgrade is possible?!

Should be fine. Same wiring and parts needed to add ATC. Depending on the radio you need to let the seller know to set the ATC option in advance, or change the option yourself.

Yes. I’ve done exactly what you are looking to do, and it works fine. The only thing is, on the temperature control screen of the aftermarket radio, there is no way to get rid of the passenger side temperature control. This is because the maestro is flashed to a RAM truck, and the maestro only knows that rams doesn’t offer single zone ATC.

Awesome, good to know, thanks for the replies!
I emailed infotainment and asked about the kit they sell and they emailed back that it won't work. I just couldnt understand why it wouldn't be able to.
Jimmy07, did you gather the materials yourself for the switch or did you use infotainments?

I personally don’t use infotainment. As you just found out, they lie. They tell people that radios and other equipment they sell need to be “programmed to your VIN”, which we know is not true. I source parts from car-parts.com. I used DeereGuy and Mpgrimm2 harness tutorials. If I need to buy a harness, I’d give my money to them, since they actually take the time to help us do these mods and show us exactly how to make the harnesses they sell.

Yea, I hear ya. I've only bought a harness from them, only because Mpgrimm2 told me he doesn't make the harness I needed.
I've been looking through car-parts.com and pricing things out.
