If you buy an OEM Hemi exhaust, the tips are adjustable for a regular or cutout bumper. So you can add the exhaust now with the tips lowered and raise them when you find a good deal on a cutout bumper.

I bought a cutout bumper for $200 then sold my non-cutout bumper for $1753405a1c411dd363c72de847c6a38a7cf.jpg44fb0d5462d415c886bf1b8a024b8fdf.jpg

That’s why I wasn’t sure as I thought they were silver stock wise. Nicely played matching the wheels to the stripe though. :)

Yeah they're white. I plasti dipped them to see how I like it. I like them a lot. They will be sent to be powder coated when the funds allow. Not sure if I want to match the door badges or just take them off. I'm thinking I'll just remove them.

I'm still on the fence with the door badges, but for now I have decals from ebay that covers most of the badge in black, but you can pick up white to see if you like it. I think they were like $20

I have plasti dip left over from the wheels so I'll use that. If I like it I wont have to remove it and if I don't it just peels right off. That stuff is awesome for testing. No prep other than washing and masking, simple as it gets to remove and it doesn't hurt the underlying surface. It just takes a while to use it correctly. It took me about 3 hours to do my wheels.

Here’s mine. 2018. All black. Plastidipped the exhaust and antenna. Cut the antenna down also. Added a Rough Country soft tri-fold tonneau cover.

How is the plastidip holding up on the antenna? I thought about using Rust-Oleum on mine because I have some extra in my shop.

Holds up good. This it probably the 3rd or 4th vehicle I have done it to. I HATE silver antennas, LOL. And long ones. Just be careful when tightening it back down, sometimes it will rip the dip if you use a wrench. I normally get it as tight as possible by hand and then use an adjustable that is just a little bit loose and just give it about a quarter turn. I just cut it with a little hack saw with a metal blade in it, then use some fine sandpaper to smooth the end. I have seen some take the ball off and replace it after cutting, but that's to much work for me, lol.

I PD'd the one on my Durango and it was stock length and it held up to the bending. Not sure what would happen though if you take it wheeling and branches etc are hitting it. I'm sure they would rip it off.

Really no mods other than amber LED front valence lights. I just loaded my '70 Bug into the trailer and hauled it home from northern IL. I estimated that the trailer loaded weighed about 4300 lbs. Going down empty I got 13 mpg and coming home I got 13 mpg!!!!! Not bad for my little old Pentastar! :)
