so i purchased another amp, already had jl xd700 so i added another. my question is can i just run an RCA splitter off each channel off the DSR because im going to bridge each amp to get max power to fronts and rears. OR do i have to purchase another DSR to run another amp.. never done this DSR factory stuff before, only radio-amp-speakers (simple)

What are you trying to accomplish. How many speakers are in your system now, and how many more are you trying to add?

Isn't there a switch on the jl that would split the 2 ch input to feed all channels on the amp?

I may by wrong but I think what 88ROOK is trying to do is make the DSR1 that has 8 channels of output into a 10 channels by splitting two channels on the DSR1. The JL XD 700/5 amp is 5 channels. add another =10 channels

Whoa. That's alot of channels. Should have figured it wasn't so simple. Thought he was trying to run the 5 channel off 2 ins. Gotta learn to read more better.

It’s possible.....I can see what you’re trying to do. Here’s an example.
Let me know is this is similar to your plan.
Amp 1:
Channels 1/2 bridged @ 150 Watts l/f speaker.
Channels 3/4 bridged @ 150 Watts r/f speaker
Channels 5/6 for left sub.
Amp 2:
Channels 1/2 bridged @ 150 Watts l/r speaker
Channels 3/4 bridged @ 150 Watts r/r speaker
Channels 5/6 for right sub. You will be turning two channels into one, so your DSR unit may not recognize that which can lead to tuning issues. It’s possible that you could mute one of the channels on the DSR for each channel bridged to avoid tuning problems. Just a possibility......but don’t know if that will actually work. Contact Rockford Fosgate. I’m sure they’ll know for sure. Good luck.

So I talked with the fosgate tech support on my issue. they said i could def. run a "Y" spitter to run multiple amps with no issue. So this good news for people wanting to run a multiple amp setup with the DSR1

OR if someone would like to trade for a pair of C2 650X (6.5s) , I'd being willing to trade both pairs for 1, just so i have them if i dont like the 6x9s up front
