Greetings all.
Here is my problem. I recently bought and installed an Alpine IVE-W530. In order for video viewing, there are two wires that get connected to the parking and foot brakes.
When I connect to the foot brake wire (white/tan) it keeps shorting out the brake switch once power is restored. This in turn stops the btsi from operating allowing the gear shift to move from park to gear.
Any advice and input is greatly appreciated.
