Audio Upgrade - 2026 Ram 2500

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express and I'm looking at upgrading the audio system a bit.

Overall, I'm happy with the factory setup, but I'd like to add some more bass. I'm thinking about installing a subwoofer under the rear seat.

The thing is, I have very little experience with car audio systems, amplifiers, wiring, and all the other components involved. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just a noticeable improvement in bass while keeping the budget reasonable.

For those who have done something similar, what would you recommend? What equipment would I need, and what's the most cost-effective way to add an under-seat sub while keeping the factory head unit?

Any advice, recommendations, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased a 2026 Ram 2500 Laramie with the Harmon Kardon system. I pulled the Skar Audio box with 2 10's out of my 2019 Classic, and to my surprise, it was a perfect fit. That said, it actually sounds really good running off the factory amp. There are 4 wires, 2 channels, running to the factory sub. I simply wired one channel to each sub. Night and day difference over the factory sub. Made a huge difference. And yes, I still have the ANC connected with no issues.
