Auto 4WD Transfer Case

So this took a little digging but if you are like me and you have the NV246 transfer case you will need the fluid to change it which is specific to this transfer case and not ATF+4 like the standard case.


I paid $17 and change a quart

Sounds like Dex 6 like GM uses now. Dex 6 is some great fluid though!!

I am interested in seeing what my transfer case fluid looks like after 60000 miles of living in the North.

It was green it is supposed to be blue when fresh so I changed it, changed my spark plugs and clean my PCV valve which was gunked up. The butt dyno says good things happened.
