Automatic start from Amazon/eBay

So I want to put a car starter on my 2014 crew cab. I really do not want to buy an after market one. I found mopar branded starters on Amazon and eBay that are plug and play you just have a dealer scan the new key fobs. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever bought one of these and how much luck they had installing it, and also getting the dealer
To scan the key fob.

Do you have a link? I'm interested in trying that out myself. Other eise, there is another forum where someome used a dball2 (I think) to plug and play to the factory system. Try searching it in the forums.

i know you said you didnt want aftermarket. but with these trucks they are also truly plug and play also. you can get an aftermarket one for around $100 harness and module. you use your same FOB and you press the lock button 3x to start the truck. you will spend more than that to have the dealer program your fob for using a "factory" one.

I did some research on the dball2 system. I liked what I saw, so I bought one. I will post back when I get it installed

It used to be more complicated setting these up with the starter run timing, but now with Tip Start, its just a radio controlled switch.
