I tried a search but every thread I found has all the pictures lost due to Photobucket's new policy. I need to mount my switch for my LED bar but having a hard time trying to find a good location. I'd like to see how others have mounted their switches..... thanks!!! I attached a picture of the switch I want to use.

I have two similar switches mounted left of the steering wheel, on the blank dash panel under the headlight switch.

Like in the picture Juvenator93 posted above??? That's where I was thinking but I wasn't sure there would be enough room with that neutral release lever in behind that panel....

I mounted similar switches in my 3rd generation to the left of the steering column. The 4th gen is different but I believe there would be room to mount in the same location. The position would be similar to where I had the "red' switch mounted in my third gen. Picture attached.

Get the oem switch panel so you don't have to drill holes in your dash. It's cheap and relatively easy to install plus it's hands down the cleanest option.

Those are only OEM for early 4th gen's (2009-2012). OP has a '14.

The last guy said this was 09-12 only, and looking at my trucks my '17 1500 is different, my '16 & '17 5500s have the old switch. The 1500 does have a panel, just a different one. Do a little research and I'd surprised if there's not an oem option. I think these were like $70 with the pigtail from the dealer.

Here it is. Depends what you want to spend but for me it's worth $100 to not drill holes in a $30K truck. It's a ground switch, so you use it to trigger the ground side of relay.

I said that was for 2009-2012's only because you posted a pic of the switch panel for 2009-2012's only...

Yeah I know, I wasn't being ******. Haha. I honestly hadn't paid enough attention to realize they were different. I've put in like 4 of the older ones but haven't had any reason to mod my '17. I didn't look it up to prove you wrong, just trying to help out.

Thanks for posting this. I wholeheartedly agree with you that I will easily drop $100 so I don't have to drill unneeded holes in my truck.

I really like the switch location that tylerlewis did. Didn’t think of that spot

Here’s what I did for my aux lighting. It’s a 3 way switch so it’s wired to turn on two 42” light bars with the high beams automatically when up, middle is off and the bottom is on all the time manually. I would get the OEM switch for extras tho. The part I drilled like less than $10 i think to replace.

2014 express CC. My bottom panel has no buttons but the tow haul.

Ok so I want one of these switch panels I just have one question, and I will post a pic of what I have now. The switch panel I have in now has the hazards, limited slip button and tow/haul button If i take that out can I reorganize those button or the AUX buttons in the new panel? I hope this makes sense

Those are only OEM for early 4th gen's (2009-2012). OP has a '14.

Where did you get those switches from?
