Avg price of cutout install

whats everyone paying to have this done, i need a ball park cause I always seem to have bad luck with shops.

well my local exhaust guy would charge like 30 bucks to cut out a section and weld in the cutout

No more than $75 tops. I paid $45 to have my old muffler cut off and the new one welded up with a turn down and new hanger

I started mine off by getting those slip on connectors from autozone, and just cutting out a section, sliding it back, putting those on, and sliding the cutout firmly into position. Then had it welded in for $25 later.

If you are just reffering to welding in the dump cutout pipe then it depends on the hour rate of the shop since it should'nt take much time to just weld in a pipe.
Then you just bolt on the e-cutout motor and wire it up.

3", thats what the stock pipe from the Y to the muffler is.

if a shop is quoting your more than $50 i would look elsewhere

I agree, it shouldn't be too much, it's not that much work involved.

i got mine for $70, but also put a down pipe on it, fixed a hanger, and had to get a new pipe from the cutout to the muffler. i think i got a good price, and he does real nice work.
