I have a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic. I install a bugshield..lightshield. Everything works but when I hit the brakes the running light bar goes out..lift brake and back on. Stopped at a garage who does this stuff and he showed where the wires go on the fusebox. Yellow= left turn, green=right turn, black is ground and the brown is the running light. Like I said when the lights are on it all works just the running lights go out when I hit the brakes. They are tied into the trailer lights..
F51, f58 and f29 is where the brown is...
Show a few pics..

I note the brown is not going to a regular fuse, which may be the issue. try the brown first to hot and try brakes, if this corrects problem try another fuse, or check manufactures instructions(if not using a separate switch you might be able to hook in to truck running lights).

I would also change the way you hooked them and use a fuse tap, this will let you know where a problem is for a blown fuse.

I tried the brown on the other side...same thing. I might try f30...forget what it is without looking...wait.. yea f29 is trailer park. F30 is trailer tow. I do have fuse adapters....not a fuse blown...all works just the lights going all the way across go off when braking...I do lose volts so...maybe I can tap off the wire to light if I can get to it...or tap off one of the rear ones...not sure.
