Backup camera stays on?

Seems like a weird one.

2015 Lone Star Ecodiesel.

Lately, instead of the backup camera turning off when I shift to Drive, it waits for me to drive forward a bit. Maybe 30-40 feet.

Anyone heard of this? It's not horrible, but it's weird, and I'm curious if it's a harbinger of problems to come.

Im sure there is a setting for this. Mine stays on until certain speed. Not sure off the top of my head where the setting is. Someone can chime in. If not i can check my truck next time I’m out.

Hmm.

Kind of corresponds with my battery replacement, so settings get cleared, but it's been without battery before and I don't think it's ever done it.

AS others have said, check the time delay setting
other then that I am no help

Yes there is a setting for the back up camera to stay on for a few seconds when pulling forward or about 10 mph whichever comes first.
I have this delay enabled on mine, the option can be found in the radio.

OK. Kinda makes sense. Like you have to back in between two cars and sharp turn to get out?

As long as the truck's OK with it, I'm OK with it.
