So was looking for a cover and found the Backflip F1. Really liked it but could not get it easily here. So I put the call out to Nick from Gotexhaust.com and he hooked me up.

He shipped it fast all the way here Australia and it arrived yesterday. Took me less than an hour to install (on my own) and it’s ****** good.

Some things I would design differently, but all in all I’m happy with the result.

THANKS NICK!!!!

Dealt with nick once on some redline oil.... he made the transaction smooth and shipping was a quick. I’ll definitely do business with him again.

On a side note do you see a lot of weird insects, bugs, man eating spiders and other crazy stuff they say exists in Australia.

So,

After the install I was not happy with the drains just hanging down like they did. Some installation hardware would have been nice to finish it off. So a quick trip to the hardware store, and problem solved.

I actually went into little ports on the side rather than drill a hole in the large plug at the front. I tested and it works well.

Cheers
J

Looks good. I love my BAKFlip! I used the oval holes right above the ones you used. Completely out of the way, you don’t even realize they’re there.

Hey man... Yeah, I tested them... BUT.... with some heavy water it leaked back in around the tide down hook, so I opted for the bottom ones. It probably would not get enough water to leak back in around the hooks unless it was really ******* in, but that's cool. I am happy!

Oh... I did notice some water getting in at the front where you lay down the seal strip - so I will keep my eye on it and see how it settles. If it keeps leaking, I will go back and see if I can get a thicker seal.
