What drop do you guys run on a stock 2020? Uhaul suggests a 2 1/4” drop but my local stores only carry a 2”.

What truck are we talking about here? 1500, 2500, 3500, ?? Is it stock? What drop do you guys run on a stock 2020? Uhaul suggests a 2 1/4” drop but my local stores only carry a 2”.
Depends on the truck and the trailer style you want to hook up.What drop do you guys run on a stock 2020? Uhaul suggests a 2 1/4” drop but my local stores only carry a 2”.
A quarter inch won't make an appreciable difference unless this is a really long trailer, so for Uhaul it will be just fine. The typical norm is 17" from the ground to the top of the ball. This of course can vary wildly, but again, we're talking about a Uhaul.
if you already have the trailer set it up so it's level and measure from the ground to the top of the coupler. Than measure from the ground to the top of your receiver on the truck. The difference will be your theoretical drop needed. Depending on how much rear end sag you get when you hookup you might need to adjust from there to keep the whole setup *generally* level. It’s a 2020 1500. It’s just to pull a 6x8 trailer around.
