Just got another update from BBK on the headers. Looks like these will be ready to ship in just a few weeks.

For those of you that dont know, BBK had previously released these headers for the 4th gen trucks. The ports on the flanges did not match up to the new heads perfectly, so they went back and are redesigning the ports to match the heads correctly. These are going to be a great option for those of you that dont want to spend $500-$600 for the JBA's. Moe's will be selling these for only $299 shipped for the chrome finish or $399 shipped for the ceramic coated. I will keep everyone posted as I get more updates from BBK.

Also, these are available and ready to ship for the 3rd gens as well. Pricing is the same at only $299 for the chrome or $399 for the ceramic coated.

Just wanted to bring this back to the top. These were pushed back a few times, but BBK is set to start shipping these now the first week of October. For a limited time, we are offering a free set of Mopar Exhaust Manifold Gaskets with all BBK header purchases...both 3rd or 4th gen headers. We are accepting pre-orders on these, so let me know if you would like to be at the top of the list and one of the first to own a set of these once they are available.

Its not a must, but it will definately help. Ported heads and a nice cam arent going to show their full potential if the motor is being choked off by a set of factory log manifolds.

I'm thinking of getting a set of these for my 2011. All I got so far in intake and throttle body spacer. Just wondering if headers would do much in performance and is it worth me spending the 300 on it.

Anyone have dyno results of stock manifolds vs the BBK headers? And maybe even BBK vs JBA? The price definitely seems right.

How are the gaskets with these? I've heard to get better gaskets.

I would imagine the stock Mopar gaskets is what you want. I know when I had my Challenger that was the rule of thumb for the best seal. Well that, and new Mopar bolts.

The last customer dyno that I saw showed 11hp/12tq from the BBK's. The JBA headers are making similar power, but the power comes on a bit sooner with the JBA's because they use a 1 5/8"...BBK uses a 1 3/4" primary. The larger primary size makes more top end power while the smaller primary size will make more low end tq. In this case, the power numbers are about the same, but it just kicks in sooner on the JBA's which makes the truck more responsive for regular day to day driving.
