Anyone know what could cause the bed to bounce when going over bumps. All the body mount bolts are tight.

interesting, never heard of this....if the bed is bouncing off the frame the only culprit would be the body mounts...

I was wondering the same thing, but then the bed floor would have to be flexing to cause any bounce. I'm guessing something isn't secured properly though.

Haven't done mine yet, but wonder if bolts are bottoming out and appearing tight when there's still room for movement. I'm doing this myself Friday and will have to keep an eye out.

Disregard I'm stupid, I picked up on the driver side corner of the bed and it lifted up. That might cause a little bed bounce lol. I even used loctite when I installed the new hardware

I just sold my truck yesterday but I also had this issue. Bed bounced over bumps after I installed my 3" PA BL. I thought everything was pretty damn tight but I guess not. Bolts probably needed re-torqued.

I notice there are different bolts for different body mounts, and depending on your truck (ext cab, bed length) you may or may not use them all. Was is possible you used the wrong bolts?

I used the wonrg length bolts at first on the bed mounts closest to the cab, I was in a rush and noticed it the next day driving with a clunking noise haha

I was wondering. The way the kit is labeled in the instructions, I thought it could be easy to cross those bolts over.

I checked all the other bolts while I was down there. Weird only that one bolt was backed out
