Thanks for the Bestop info, they look the same but are $80 less than the AR's. In fact they even have the same part number (75310-xx) with only the trailing numbers different. Hmmm, looks like they're out of stock about everywhere I'm looking... Went thru a half dozen big suppliers and no one has one. Oh well, don't need it right now anyways...

Yes they are. I have been looking at getting one too.

I climb in truck with tailgate down daily and its a pain as there is only a tiny section of the bumper to step onto

Yea it looks very handy, amp also makes one for the side of the bed to help get into tool boxes. I'm gonna price the mopar one out cause I can get 25% mopar accessories since my dad works there

Let us know what us mere mortals would get dinged for the Mopar flavored step! Debating whether not waiting 2 months is worth the $80 "AMP" surcharge...

Will do. I know some dealers will send out coupons for like 15-20% off accessories too. I've seen a few people say they use them, maybe print one out online and see if your local dealer will honor it

That site shows "Manufactured - Ships in 7 to 10 days". Bestop hasn't answered my query yet on when they will be making another run. Some sites state unavailable until 07/31, which is prolly accurate. Summit shows June 10th, but "been there, done that" with Summit. Their dates are waaay optimistic...

I just purchased an Amp Research Bedstep for my 2017 1500 @ Amazon for $219 w/ free shipping.

FYI there are two flavors for the Ram 1500: 75306-01A for single exhaust, and 75310-01A for dual exhaust.

ok so dealer wanted $294 for step lol employee price was $220 but found an even better deal, ebay is doin 20% off til tonight so ordered one for $240 and their discount code brought it down to $192 with free shipping
