I ended up with 285/70/17 Falken Rocky Mountain, have been extremely pleased with them.

They have been great so far. Also have a better warranty then the nitto and tread life if I remember right. Main reason I went with them. Although, I kind of wish I would have gotten the extreme version. Same pattern just beefier.

Falken Wild Peak 35x12.50R17 had them for 1.5 years and put around 10k and loved them absolutely dead silent on the highway and balanced very easy. Either going with these again on the new ram or to a mud terrain

What size, do you like them, and how does the v6 move them around?

Here is something to think about. Jeep Wranglers have a v6 without the 8 speed. And they run huge tires.

Cooper Discoverer AT3s. Wanted to get Toyos but I couldn't pass up the price of these. $840 installed with a $100 mail in rebate.

Awesome tire so far. Great in the rain, quiet on the highway. Haven't had them in snow yet but I'd image they would do really well. Only downfall of them is the 1-2 MPG hit

So far I've been impressed with them and didn't take a MPG hit either.

I was actually just at the shop by my house looking at tires and these were the ones I liked in the pics. You have them on the exact same truck as mine so now I can see how they look on the truck! Looks awesome!!

Good to know about mileage with those. I took a 1-2 MPG hit with the AT3s...

Thanks! I love the look of these tires. For some reason they don't look as aggressive in these pics as they actually are. They're also whisper quiet on the highway.

But they are also about 1/2-3/4 the weight

I have a RCSB, so it isn't as big of a gap. I wouldn't be too worried. With LT rated tires you might lose a little MPG, but I wouldn't think it would be anything too drastic.

Have the same tires for my ram. Love having some extra "teeth" with these tires especially in the snow. They grab like a champ, and they can handle about 4-5 inches of snow with no problems. Now I did work them hard in the 20 inches of snow we had this past weekend, so I had to use them in 4x4..but never stuck and had a blast

Another Cooper owner here, I'm running the A/T-W's they've been good to me in all seasons now. Bought em because they were priced at $800 for 20"s, got good reviews and are winter rated without having to swap in dedicated winter tires because I just want a set I can use all year Not going to bother posting pics of them on my truck because I don't have any tire close-up shots but this is a stock photo if you just want to see the tire on its own.

Wow I expected them to be good in the snow but not that good. We got about a foot where I am but by the time I drove my truck the roads were clear and a lot of melting had happened...

Knowing New England I'm sure I'll have the opportunity before winter is over
