Red all the way, esp at night as most of my commute time is in darkness..

You can do it on the cheap too with some red Lamin-X. I even did the overhead console pinhole light, sunroof and homelink buttons...

Wish I knew how to convert the whole gauge cluster/buttons/knobs to red or amber. Definitely my preference.
Tinting the whole lense would likely be the easiest for the gauges. It's a removable piece you can tint from the inside. You can use the same tint on the inside of button housings to tint them red. Lamin-X will work for all Applications mentioned. If you didn't want to unclip the lense you could tint it from the outside too with similar results and protect the lense from scratches.

I prefer to keep the 12v power outlet and purchase a quality car charger, as they are constantly improving the chargers (for faster charging speeds) and I will undoubtedly want to upgrade the charger every year or two.

Good point, however...

1) Only my dogs ride in the back and they don't have opposable thumbs.
2) The current adapter sticks out and snags things when the fold-flat is deployed.
3) Excellent for dash cam power.

I did a trailer hitch receiver with the 2 inch ball... barely tow but it’s worth the bit of protection for $40.

$6 for 3M moulding tape and a CD case I had laying around. Cut the case about 1/8 bigger than the suction cut (unsucked) of the GPS holder. Stuck it to the side of the glasses cubbby.
