I need less of a truck to carry a 8 foot box pop up camper for extended summer fly fishing trips to the mountains of NE Arizona. A full sized, 4WD would be ideal. A good, clean, used later year model makes sense.

So, I am looking for advice on selling my very cherry, fully equipped 2019 3500 Laramie Dually. It only has 29K miles on it, and has at least another year on the bumper to bumper extended, transferable factory warranty I purchased.

Selling it privately seems to be the best route to go. Any advice, suggestions?

Nice looking truck!! I don't know if there's a best time of year but I've always had the best luck selling trucks and RVs privately and by writing a nice descriptive ad.... bordering on longwinded. I put out all the important stuff up front but then just tell the story of how I got it, what I've done with/to it and any other info I can think of.

It always makes me laugh how many people post a $60K truck with a six word ad :) I work in real estate and with houses the agents fall all over themselves writing long descriptive ads with lots of really nice pictures. Not sure why that doesn't crossover to most vehicle ads.

I know that a full sized camper is too heavy for a 1/2 ton truck & maybe too heavy for a 3/4 ton truck with a Cummins engine

small trucks need a small Cap

or a folding camper tent

After Christmas is not the time to sell,it's the time to buy,you want to sell right around the time everybody gets their income tax refund so middle of April to early May are usually better times to sell

This is helpful. I bought the truck on Jan 31 and they had a bunch of duallys on year end markdown.
