I'm on the second set on my 2014 1500. Love them. Got 60K miles out of the first set. Just rotate them front to rear every 10K miles and they'll last. When my 2018 2500 needs a set I'll be putting them on instead of the Toyo's that are on it now.

I just got rid of mine today. $600. I little less than what I woulda hoped to get out of them but they were used and I didn’t expect to get no where near what i paid for them.

Well Monday started off pretty lousy!! As I always do, before leaving the house to drive to work, I always walk around the truck to check everything out and when I got to the passenger side rear tire I noticed a bulge sticking out about 3/4" that ran across the sidewall from tread to wheel. I knew I hadn't bumped against anything or anything that would cause such a sidewall situation. To say I was mad is an understatement. I left and drove to Discount Tire and once there they found a similar bump on the inside of the drivers side front tire. I have had Goodyear tires on other cars and had more problems with them, by far than any other brands. I asked them to replace them with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tires. I have been reading customer reviews on several different tires in the same category and the BFG's had way more pros than cons. What I love about Discount Tire is that they gave me 75% of the value of the two good tires and will send the other two off to Goodyear and if they get credit will give me $50 each. I and my family have been using Discount Tire for over 15 years and have never had bad experience with them. They will always be my GOTO tire supplier. So my baby got an early Christmas present......a new pair of shoes. I really love the way they look and handle. Road noise is almost un-noticeable. I'm looking forward to taking them out into the hunting lease this weekend to fill feeders and give them a try off-road.

These look GREAT! I'm in the process of shopping for tires as well. I stopped at Discount Tire yesterday and I think i'm gonna pull the trigger. They suggested that I could actually go with 275/65/20's which would fill out the wheel well a little more. What size are on your truck?
Thanks

View attachment 148096 View attachment 148097 Just put on a set of BFG TA KO2s on my 2015... have been surprised by how good they feel and how quiet they are. Was expecting more road noise and rougher ride.....what I got was no perceptible increase in noise over my Goodyear P series tires...and a good step up in drive 'feel'..... what I did experience is a 2 mpg decrease in mileage.... something I'm okay with.
These look awesome, what size are they 275/60/20? What tire pressure are you running at? Thanks!

That's the size I run on my Ram with the stock wheels 275-65R20... You'll gain an inch or so in ground clearance and it will fill out the wheel wells better. I've actually run the 285-65's with the stock wheels too with very little issue (only a slight rub on the inside (sway bar?) when the steering wheel is at full-lock), but the 285's are so much more expensive that I don't find the added expense worth it the slight width/height diff....

Couple more questions if you don't mind...
What air pressure do you run at?
I think the stock P metrics run at 39 psi...will running at higher pressure on the LT's trigger the TPMS light to come on?
How is the ride compared to the stock P metric tires?
How has it affected your fuel economy?

Thanks for your input!

I used to run mine at @42-45PSI.
I just ordered some General Grabber ATX tires yesterday ($100 rebate from General if purchased before the end of October) in the same 275-65R20 size and I'll probably run them at about the same pressure (on the stock Ram wheels).
On the pressure, I usually keep an eye on the tread wear across the tire's width to dictate how must pressure to run. Since I sometimes drive my Ram like a sports car, if you run too low of pressure, the tire will roll-under in the harder turns and you will lose the tire's corners and maybe even some of the side tread aggressiveness if you drive it like a Lambo. This is not a good thing for off road use since these areas really help with traction when the poop gets deep. So, if you notice some high corner wear, running the pressure up a couple/few PSI higher will keep the tire from rolling under and it will put the wear more in the middle of the tread.
Likewise, if you notice the center of the tire is getting "thin" compared to the remaining aggressive corners and edges, then reduce the pressure slightly to let the edges do more work and get more contact with the road.

On fuel economy, unless you recalibrate the speedo/ECU to compensate for the taller tires, your in-truck computer will tell you the new tires have cost you about a 10%-15% loss in fuel economy. This number is incorrect due to taller tires making fewer revolutions per mile, and since the truck is eating the same amount of fuel to travel "X" distance with the tires doing fewer revolutions per mile, the computer calculates your mileage incorrectly as a significant reduction in efficiency. I have confirmed this calculation error with a hand-held GPS unit and @ a 200 mile trip on the highway, by topping off the tank and resetting the truck computer just before entering the highway and then topping off the tank and comparing the actual amount to fuel used over the distance along with the GPS readings and the truck's onboard computer calculations. The faster you drive, the worst the speedo error and mileage loss will seem to be. Even as I was driving along with the cruise set, the GPS gave me the correct ground speed and it was different than what the digital speedo was showing.

I put Bilstein and 33x12 with hostile 20x10 wheels. Truck has a horrible shaking problem. I originally had discount tire mount them and a POS shop do the struts and alignment. It shook and tracked horrible so I took it to another shop had it realigned and re balanced. It fixed the steering as the alignment was clearly off but still shaking sometimes really bad. Should I do a road force balance? Tired of spending money

My KO2's needed a road force balance before the settled down ... mostly. The side walls on those tires are pretty soft so they have a tendency to wobble.

I eventually replaced them with some Nitto tires and have been very happy with those.
