I did a lot of research and got a lot of opinions in the past week myself with a similar question. My situation was that I had factory on my 2015 1500 and then my friend wanted to get rid of his 33/12.5/20 Kumo MT tires so I took them for a bit, they were never rotated, became shot pretty quick so tomorrow I am going to get my new KO2s installed 275/65's I hope they look good with the 2" leveling kit.

You should share your source on here. $210 a tire for 275/65/20 KO2s is well below dealer cost.

Discount Tire. Regional pricing may have an effect on cost...

As for the performance of the KO2s, I came upon a wreck in the road this morning that was blocking the road. Took the ditch to get around them (they were all standing there, exchanging info, all looked uninjured), through about a foot of snow. As I came out of the ditch on the other side of wreck, I went to shift out of 4wd only to realize I was still in 2wd. The ATPs I had last year would never have done that.

I had KO2s installed on my 2500 before it left the dealer lot. Have been running these tires for years on different vehicles. They are expensive but if you catch it at the right time they have buy 3 get 1 free sales.

I have been running my KO2s for over a year now, I like them but I still think the duratracs are better.

First snow of the year in KC my new KO2 did awesome. By far the best tires I have ran in the snow, my blizzaks may have been slightly better, but those are purpose built tires. No regrets getting these. Normal road manners are great as well.

X2 but their miles quieter and smoother with 80% of what the duratracs do.

as for snow and ice, the duratracs are king.

Advantage to those Duratracs is you get that new tire feeling more often... since you have to replace them!!!! Goodyear hater for life. They charge premium price for tires that are not able to last. Sorry I just don't get why people buy them. The Duratrac may even be good but I could never buy a Goodyear tire. So many options that are better. Okay I feel better. Have to let out my Goodyear disdain every so often.

The KO2s are quieter which is nice, but I never thought the duratracs were overly loud either.

I agree Goodyear tires suck but I feel like they got it right with the duratracs.

I have had both, ko2s were only on for a short time though. Noise was about the same I though. I liked the ride and handling of the duratracs better. Ko2s were a 285/65-18 vs a 305/55-20 duratrac

Get the cooper, honestly, they are much cheaper and are just as good as the more expensive brand names.

This just simply isn't true from a wear standpoint in what I have seen. They are not bad by any means but just as good is misleading. More like they are a good value for the price etc.

Just my 2 cents, I took my truck out in the snow and ice this past weekend, have the BF KO2 on my truck. Never had to put it in 4wd. I am very impressed with the tires. I guess that snowflake on the sidewall means business!

I have had 3 sets of the Nitto tires on 3 different trucks (including my current one with 50k on them) and never regretted it once. The one truck I sold it when the tires had about 60k on them and still had some tread left. They are quiet and smooth. I had a jeep with the original KO's and they wear too fast. Not sure about the new ones.
