I installed a 52 gallon Titan tank in my 2023 Ram Cummins. I went from the stock 32gal. to the 52gal. It isn't a horrible problem but now the fuel gage doesn't match what is really in the tank. It's off by about 1/3. The dealer won't help...they could but won't, so does anyone know who makes the flash for a 2023 fuel capacity? The flash units I've looked at go only to the older years. Thanks for any help you may have.

I've been running the Titan 55 gallon tank in my 2016 Ram 3500 for the past three years and I still have not had the gauge corrected. I just realize that when the gauge reads 3/4 it's actually about a half of the capacity and when the gauge first starts to move after being completely filled up that I can add 23 gallons. I ran this issue past my dealer when I made the change and they said that they have no way of reprogramming the gauge because basically the physical float in the tank is where the issue is as the float can only go so high.

Considering most of these still have a mechanical float in them, if the tank is physically taller and you don't change the float arm (and its pivot point) to be able to reach from top to bottom of the tank, you will not really be able to 'correct' for the larger tank. It's not an electrical issue.

On a classic, you'd use a product called "meter match" to do this, perhaps that's still an option?

Look into the AlfaOBD program, pretty sure you can change it using that

I've seen it as an option in AlfaOBD but never played with it.
