All to often my truck (2016 6.4L) won't start after operating the plow for a short while. The dealer says it is all fine. I do have the Snow Chief option. If there is a significantly higher CCA battery available, I would buy it. All I am seeing is 800CCA or smaller. Has anyone seen one with more CCA?

An idea here...
Have you considered using 2 batteries in tandem? Still 12V but 2X the cca and run time.

If you have the money and the desire, I would buy the biggest AGM battery (any brand) that will physically fit in the battery box.

I’d just swap to a dual battery setup like the diesels come with

There is the Odyssey AGM specific for 6.4:

I'd be willing to be that the version for the EcoDiesel will fit:
https://shop.odysseybattery.com/p/49-950
It's a 950 CCA(1700 PHCA) 160 minute reserve capacity

The above noted Group 65 battery probably won't fit as the terminals are reversed and physically larger.

I would definitely use an AGM type battery, and consider a dual set up if you need some seriously long battery run time.

Advanced Auto parts, you typically can find a 20% sometimes a 25% discount code if you buy online pick up in store (would have to do it twice as the code is $50 max) or if the dude at the store is cool he will give you the 25% off.

Both AGM batteries in my ‘14 last year was less than $300 out the door.

Contact Torklift. They have auxiliary battery mounting kits. I'm looking at mounting two additional batteries under the bed.

The air box is in the way of adding a 2nd battery under the hood. I upgraded my battery and haven't had a problem since and I'm running both front and back blades.
