So I installed my bils at 2.8 this weekend and couldn't be happier with how the front in came out and the ride height. I am going to pop the front wheels off and double check torque and ride and conditions this weekend after some driving but I also had a question on rear spacers. I want to come up a few inches in the back as well but I wanted some forum advise. Is there a recommended height to get? I think I read to not go over 2" with a spacer but would it be safer to go with 1.75? I am aiming for right at 2" I believe. Also, is there a big difference in quality from ordering a TGC or just grabbing a set from 4wheelparts? I don't mind waiting the shipping if there is but if they are all the same I would rather pick them up and get it done with. Thanks for all the help and below are before and after pictures of the bils install.

Size depends on what look you're going for. Want to stay close to factory rake? Little rake? Level?

I can take one this evening, we did the install on a sloped driveway so you couldn't tell and then I drove straight to drop her off at the alignment shop. what is the largest someone suggest going with rear spacers? I am really around the 1-2" range so I think I should be good.

A side shot will definitely help determine how it's actually sitting and how much rear lift you want. 1.5" is typically the highest you want to run with stock shocks. Any longer and you're too high in the travel of the shock and they won't perform as well and you'll likely over extend them.

It looks good but I would definitely want my rear raised somewhat. :)

I do I do, just wondering what would look best. If I do 2" I need to get new shocks as well? Any suggestions? If I do 1.75 or 1.5 can I keep factory shocks? I don't mind getting new shocks if it's an upgrade

Well I took the easy way out and purchased Bilsteins all around on my 2011. I figured it was the safest way for me on my high mileage truck.

I picked up Bilstein 5100 non adjustable ones for the rear. It only takes it at most 1"...

I have 2.5" in the front and 1.5" in the rear of mine, stock shocks are fine for that height.

I'd say 1" spacer & keep stock shocks .

I installed Bil 5100s on all for corners back in December. The front is set at 2.8. I purchased a set of Superlift 140 coil springs for the rear, UPS dropped them off this afternoon. The Superlift 140 are dual rate coils, and should lift the rear about 2". The dual rate is slightly softer than OE for the first few inches of travel, then firmer for the remaining squish. I hope to get the coils installed on Saturday. I'll take before and after pictures and get them posted.

What he said. :)

I just did Bilstein 5100s all around with the fronts set at 2.8. It's a little nose high so I'm looking for the best way to lift the rear a little bit.

I'm at 2.8 front and 1.75 in rear. I had about 1" of rake last time I checked but the front could have settled a little more since then. It would look better unloaded with probably a 1 to 1.5" spacer. I tow often and the rear end still sags so much that I go back to nose high.
