Excuse me if this has been addressed already, I have searched this forum and others and have not seen a definative answer to my question.
I have a '17 Ram 1500 and plan to install some TufTruck TTC-1211 springs to beef up the rear somewhat. I also would like to install some Bilstein B8 5100 (24-187374) rear shocks, to replace the OEM. Being as the Bil's have 1" more travel than OEM and the 1211 springs are a bit shorter than OEM, my concern is that when the suspension is completely extended, the springs may be a tad loose in their seats and cause issues.
Are there any members who have gone with this combination of 5100's shocks and 1211 springs (or 1223V)? If so have you seen any issues with noise, undue wear on the mounting seats, etc.? I'm assuming everything will be good, but thought I'd ask some experienced members before proceeding.
Also, I do plan on installing the Bilstein B8 5100's in the front to adjust the ride height. This is the main reason for wanting to use the 5100 rears too, but would using the Bilstein B6 4600 rear shocks balance out well also?
Thanks Dave
