hi I currently have a 2.5” spacer leveling kit in my 2017 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4. I just bought the bilstein 5100s. The 2.5 inches leveled my truck out perfectly in my opinion, however, with these new bilsteins im confused. I don’t know whether to set them at 2.1 or 2.8. I have 20x12 wheels and I’m not putting spacers in the rear. What should I do?!

I’d do the 2.8. After it settles probably won’t notice much of a dif

I think if you do 2.8 you’ll be happy. Maybe 1” in the rear?

From what I remember 2.1 still has a slight rake and 2.8 is pretty much bang on. However, there has been some variations on people’s trucks

Take a look at the bilstein picture thread here. You’ll have a good idea of what it’ll look like.

Do the 2.8 setting. If after awhile you think it’s too high you can always add a soccer to the rear.

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas

I'm a bit confused. He doesn't say whether or not he's keeping the spacers or removing them. Are you all recommending the Bill's at 2.8 with his 2 1/2" leveling spacers intact or are you assuming he is removing the spacers? Spacers plus 2.8 Bills doesn't seem right to me.

Remove the spacers and level using bils set at 2.8.

Looks sharp! Nice plate choice btw....Now get the 5100’s for the rear and you will really be happy with the ride...

Bilsteins put on today! Rides like a Cadillac! NEVER USE FRONT SPACERS. Destroyed my front end and squeaked like crazy. These bilsteins are great.

Can I fit 35” just on 2.8” setting? TIA

I think with 35s you may get some rub, but I'm no expert. Someone smarter than I will be by with a better answer.
