I want everyone to know how much I appreciate advice and suggestions here. I installed the Bilstein 5100's (2.8) on my 2013 Ram 1500 and the ride is fantastic. I love the look too! I recommend talking to Andrew at Bully's. He helped me come to a decision on my Tonneau cover and gave me a great price.
Synolimit - your pics were extremely helpful. I started to take a few but it was so darn hot I was in a sauna. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to be prepared to compress the coils and have the equipment available to do it. Otherwise your looking for a ride to a shop where you are humbled by your failure to plan ahead - trust me..Anyway, here is my finished product.

Definitely always need the coil compressor when changing shocks on most vehicles. Most auto part places have the tools as loaners. That's what I did.

Took 2 years but my front struts developed a rattle with the bilsteins. Mechanic said the washers were in the correct position under the mount and the nut was tight. My mounts are now worn and need to be replaced which is only about 120 bucks CAD his cost, but we're at a loss here. Can anyone think of why the mounts would be worn, and why I could possibly expect a different result with new strut mounts?

Only issue I had at 1.4 was excessive rebound. When I hit a small bump the truck seemed to act like I hit a much larger bump causing the truck kind of bounce higher than expected. Tat is just a product of preloading the spring . I changed the springs to Eibach and it rides smoother and the excessive rebound is gone . Everything seems to come at a price.
