Anyone know what the black box under the cab on the drivers side is? It seems to have oil of some sort going to it (mine's leaking). I'm thinking it may be involved in the egr? I'll post pics in the morning. Thanks

Here's a picture, and you can clearly see where oil is under the truck. Thanks

Thats the evap canister but it isn't full of oil. Some oil can be found in it because the engine pulls vacuum on it but it shouldn't be much unless you have some serious engine problems.
Judging by the oil that was slung all over your floor boards, oil is hitting something that is rotating.

Clean everything off and check oil levels and monitor it. I bet it is something way up top dripping down.

After talking it over with a buddy, I believe it may be the seal on the transfer case that is leaking. The seal didn't appear wet though, and there was so much oil on that box/lines I just assumed that was the leak. I'll try to get back under the truck tonight and see what I can find. Thanks

T case seal is leaking. It is flinging it up when its rotating that's is why you se the pronounced line. I use to have to change them on customers trucks quite often
