Looking to buy some tips to help finish of my vision. Has anyone bought any aftermarket tips for your rides and if so what do you recommend. I'm looking at GIBSON 500639-B but it hurts to pay $75ish per just for a tip. I know you usually get what you pay for but there has got to be something out there a little less pricey. I believe it's 2.25" inlet to 4" outlet with about 12" length. Thanks...….

I have a set of the Carven and a set of Moe's, Both 5". The Moe's tips have a rolled edge and are longer. IMHO, they look much better. If you have an aftermarket muffler, They will also change the tone of the sound, make it deeper. Either set you're looking at $180 to $200. Well worth the price though!

Please remember that all tips, no matter what manufacture or what vendor you use, need to be taken care of, especially if you live in the rust belt. Periodic cleaning and polishing will go along way in increasing the longevity of any tips and will help prevent rust and/or discoloration.

I went with Go Rhino's matte black 5-inchers (GRT4514B)...no, they're not those big trumpets that many run here, but I like 'em better.GRT234414BBlackPCstainlesssteelexhausttip.jpg

Just one more thought, OP, regardless of what you do, it'll still look better than those dangling pipes Ford and Chevy hang under their rigs!!!
