Black front and rear badges

Hi there,

New Ram owner, black 1500 Sport, CC.

I am looking to replace the stock front and rear chrome badges with black ones. Is this something a DIY newb can do on his own, or is it something complicated?

piece of cake, you can find the emblems online from mopar. the back emblem has 3 posts used for location, but oits just double sided 3m tape, a little heat to soften the adhesive and a putty knife work just fine. then just clean the surface and put the new one on. the front i believe is 3 clips behind the grille.

You could always plasti dip them. It's like $6 at menards and looks good.

poped mine out last week and took to a paint shop, they charged me $10 not bad, I kept the outer ring chrome on tailgate badge

I ordered mine from allmoparparts.com. They are a vendor on here and have a link along the right side of this forums website. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and put them on last week. The tailgate badge was just $13, but the grille was about $55. The rear badge is held on by 3M and has 2 guide posts to keep it staight. Removing this is just like debadging the truck. Look at the debadging thread to find the best way for this. It's really easy to do. Also, the new badge already has 3M tape on it, so you don't have to buy tape. The front is more of a pain. It has 4 retaining clips that hold it in place, along with a strip of 3M tape in the center. I had a tough time getting this one off. If you can somehow get the badge removed from the 3M tape first, it will make it much easier.

Mine were 160 for the rear, 140 for the front and 200 for the horn cover, dash plate and tailgate Punisher Package badges from Re-Badge
The Billet tail and grille are both from Billet Badges. And they do offer a Military discount.
