Black lug nuts

My understaing is that the 5th gen shares the same 14x1.5 lugs of previous gens. I am looking for black lug nuts that are of good quality and work with OEM wheels.

Some that I have found state that "they will not work with factory wheels" and I'm really not sure why.

As somebody who just bought new lugs for my aftermarket wheels, I can tell you this. Aftermarket wheels have smaller holes, so a standard socket wont fit in them. I ended up finding splined lug nuts. My guess is that due to the smaller size of the lug, it doesn't flare out as much as the stock "acorn" style. So the ones meant for aftermarket wheels may not have enough bite on them to hold the stock wheels securely.

I have an extra set. I ordered em on for my truck, and they ended up shipping 2 sets for some reason and said to just keep them. Let me know if your interested can send pics 2nite. They are oem acorn and black.

I ordered a set of black anodized lug nuts for my 2017 Ram express with 17" alloy wheels with black OEM plastic covers. They are nice for inexpensive eBay specials. They were about $20 shipped for the set IIRC. Solid one piece nuts as opposed to the pressed two piece chrome OEMs.

I've had them on for about 5 months.
